QTP -The Script updates

May is here and it is time to feast on mangoes and cricket and ice cream and of course, lots and lots of Theatre! NCPA and Junoon are hosting a range of workshops and plays for children in all parts of the city. Shaili Sathyu (email gillo.gilehri@gmail.com for details) has announced a wonderful initiative offering highly subsidised tickets to children of NGO's. NCPA will also be hosting Ananda - A Hindi Theatre festival and Summertime at Prithvi is ready to entertain children of all ages! Thespo's Dramabaazi is off to a wonderful start and from the sound of it, the kids are teaching the adults a thing or two about performing on stage!

On the QTP front,
12th May - 8 pm - St. Andrews Auditorium - Nostalgia Brand Chewing Gum - As someone aptly said - "A witty play about morons and oxymorons." A delightful (un)romantic comedy about love, life, friendship and garnished with a pinch of existential crisis! To get a taste of the madness, Click Here.
28th May - 7:30pm - Great Text Reading - Maria Irene Fornes' 'Mud' - winner of 1984 Obie Award for Playwrighting and Directing.
