Virasat, Dehradun and The festival, Nainital, Folklife and Heritage festival, Afro-Asia's biggest

REACH, as you are well aware, is a Dehradun based organization working since last 17 years for the promotion art and crafts. In 1994, we started the Virāsat Festival which is today Afro-Asia’s biggest folklife & heritage festival, with record craft sales. We also work with several artisans under the AHVY scheme. REACH is making efforts to improve tie-ups with foreign buyers to boost the crafts’ industry. To expand its activities and further the market for rural crafts, we are increasing the number of marketing events for crafts, with major events – v Virāsat, Dehradun v The Festival at Nainital, during summer holidays. Besides these 2, we shall be holding several events throughout the year in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Himachal Pradesh.
