Anupam Kher’s theatre production Mera Woh Matlab Nahi Tha is a resounding success Mumbai, Mera Woh Matlab Nahi Tha , the play with Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta in the lead roles, has had a smashing run of 16 houseful shows across the country and abroad, since its Mumbai premiere on March 8 . In fact, all the shows held so far have been pre-sold, without the box office counters being opened. Its international debut was in Singapore’s scenic Esplanade on 29 th May 2015 and the play is set to storm the US and Canada with 25 shows on the anvil across 25 cities.
